This group is dedicated to getting people together who love participating in singing the music they love in the presense of other music lovers. The important thing in karaoke is not necessarily in ability but in the participation.

We are a group of musicians, performers and music lovers who gather weekly at the Dora Keogh (141 Danforth Ave, Toronto) to practice, share our talents and enjoy good company and our mutual love of music. Meet up for people who love to play acoustic music. This will be a round circle Jam, where each person will bring 3 songs and others can join in playing or singing with them. The goal of the group is to learn new songs. This meetup is an opportunity for spoken word sharings of all kinds : poets, authors, playwrights, storytellers, singer-songwriters. Spoken Word events take place in Toronto's East Danforth Community on the third Friday of the month 7:30-9:30 at the Red Rocket Coffee. There is usually a featured author and then open mic for others, in a casual supportive atmosphere. Lots of drinks and goodies available (it's licensed too!)
