Hi! I heard about this meetup on the JPF boards (Just Plain Folks). Looking forward to meeting you all! I sing and play piano, and write music & lyrics. I'm also a published novelist. More about me here: www.alyssastory.com - thanks!
Do you eventually want a steady songwriting partner? Or do you prefer to do it on an as-needed basis?

I'd like to find a few local people to collaborate with P/T.

Do you imagine yourself or someone else performing your songs?

I'm a vocalist, but I may not always be the right voice for a song. Either way!

What comes easier for you - words or music?

They usually come together. Once in a while I get just the melody or just the lyric though.

What instrument(s) do you use to write your music?

Piano, voice, bass guitar (sometimes).
